Why You Should Not Chat Online.

When we first got our computer back in 2000, we started browsing Internet once in a while, may be, once a month. But it was fun. We used to goto Yahoo Chat Room and Chat There. But we never knew whether the person with whom we are chatting is He or She, also if He or She is the same age as we are. There was the danger of chatting with old person who could be trying to make his ugly moves.
As days passed by, YAHOO Closed it’s chat-rooms and so did many other Internet sites. In many developed countries, webmasters offering chat rooms can be brought to court. So these days many websites do not offer chat rooms.
Imagine you are 14 years old and you are on a chat room. And someone who could be twice that age or even higher is chatting with you by pretending to be of your age and your gender.
Doesn’t that sound scary ?
In most developed countries, even chatting to a minor on the Internet is a Crime; with or without any intention of being with that minor. But in our Nepal, there is no Law. It is possible for an Adult to Chat with a minor in our country. That is why we all should avoid chatting online. Be safe. Say not to Chart Rooms until the our Sleepy Government Wakes Up!
