फूलको ओंठमा फुलेकोछु
पुतली भइ उडि आऊ
पर्खिरहेछु जुनेली रातमा
वतास बनी छाम्न आऊ ।

मेरो छाति खै पहाडको
भत्किरहने पहिरो जस्तो
मेरो आशा कुमारीको
झरिरहने बर्को जस्तो ।

किन रुन्छन् फूलहरू
झर्छन् किन ताराहरू
सारा रंग धुलो बनि
छोप्छन किन आस्थाहरू ।

बस्याछु यतै पर्खाइमा
खोज्दैछौ कि मलाई कतै
कति अल्झुं आशै आशमा
कि बोकी बैंस बगौं कतै ।
