Sam Rita College - Future of Nepal

This is a fiction story, any resembles to a real story is a pure coincidence.
Sam goes to a Government college and Rita goes to a private college.
Rita’s family is rich, her Dad works in a Government office at the Airport. Sam’s family, just recently migrated from Dolpa, now live in Kathmandu, where his Dad works as a Porter and his mum sells groceries like Saags and Aloo near the Gangabu Bus Park.
One day, when both of them went to their college, groups of their student unions were arguing about whom they like the most. One group said Girija, the other said, Madhav and the last of angry groups said Prachanda. Soon students started fighting, hurting one another. Then, Police came to the scene, tear gas and Lathi Charge took place. Many students were wounded. But Sam managed to run for his life and found his safe home.
Over at Rita’s college, similar incident took place. Thousands of students clashed with Police. Many ran off like a bee. After an hour the college was empty except for a few Police. Rita wokeup in Birhospital. Her Dad learned that she was pushed down on the ground by the furious and agitating hurds of students running away, stepping on her fallen body, one after another. Her poor body had given up but she luckly survived.
When Sam got home, he was exhausted, he walked home for an hour by foot, for his little wallet had gone in the run or die situation. Later that evening, Sam’s dad came home after a long day’s of hard work in extreme heat. His wife cooked him some meal. When they were sitting on the floor with their legs folded and ready to eat their meal, Sam asked his dad. “Baba hamro desh ma matri ho ki auri desi ma pani yesto huncha. College ka vidyarthi lie Politics ko Sueee dinay kasta netahun Baba?” He goes on, what can we learn when they use us, the future of this nation? He adds, Dad, should they not create a new constitution where doing politics in learning areas like schools would be a punishable crime! Why do our politicians inject politics in a place where everyone is suppose to be learning, Sam continues asking his Dad.
A few months passes by, Rita’s Daddy sent her to a foreign college. They said to their neighbor, this is exactly why one day Nepal will have only useless politicians, useless leaders of student unions, may be they can enjoy Nepal more when their Futures would have already left Nepal.
It has been five years now. Sam is in Malaysia. His Dad had borrowed money so Sam could study in a place where there are just teachers not injectors! Sam, after finishing his study, got a job and has been helping his family ever since. Sam misses his country Nepal, but he feels that nobody can ever try to give him injections of politics.
Pass your message below. What did you learn from this short story? Has any of the student leaders in Nepal are feed by their Political leaders? When will student union be student union but not a political playground where Nepal’s futures are learning. Many students have left Nepal. And could some of those be because of Actions by Unions or is it because Unions are just used to blame one’s failure to succeed in Nepal.
