What is My Name is our first interactive video made using Youtube’s Video annotations.

It lets you add commentary or even links to other videos.

Just do what these lovely birds tell you to do – Find their names. Click on Coco, Maya and Mela. When you have done all that you will see some surprises at the final video.

In order to create this interactive video, we needed 5 Videos. First Video Asks you to Find Coco, if your answer is wrong, it takes you to Wrong Answer Video. If you click on Coco, it congratulates you, then asks you, who is Maya, which again links to you Maya Video and this process continues from Maya Video to Mela and then to Final Video. Any wrong click will take you back to the wrong video. (As of this date of writing, we understand that youtube video annotations is under BETA and embedding them on other places may not work.) These are Taeniopygia guttata in Botanical Names but often just known by the name Finches or Zebra Finches. They are accepted as pets, social birds often kept in pairs. Since we had 3 birds in one cage, one of the female started dominating, making the other impossible to eat. She started to bite the other female who seemed frighten and often without a meal although 3 birds all share the same cage when they slept; 2 females and 1 male.

After finding that, we called the place where we got these birds and the pet owner suggested that we separate one of the female and keep her alone. Every time you visit a pet store to buy feeds or accessories, there is always a temptation to buy more pets. In this case, we wanted to buy a male for the female zebra fench (why are we not giving you the names? read on) Most pet shops offer Zebra Fenches at bargain price if you buy them in pairs. So we had to bring one more male home for the other female. Then there was the temptation to add 1 more bird. Now, we have 5 birds who are part of the members of k6yarfilms. We will let you know the names of the other 2 birds and their videos will also be shown to you.
