The OtherSide – a Short Film

The OtherSide (as in one word please!) is a short film that has a few funny moments as well as a lesson about life. Perhaps it has just one thing among many, as we Humans forget.

Observer’s aren’t always right, or should we say what you see is not what you get ?

Watch the film below, read the rest of goto youtube to interact with comments/users. Enjoy !

Casts:

Dan TAM, Lito, Vicky, I Gede, Ruben, and Erick.

Equipments Used:
A cheap as* camcorder which bounces back and forth to fix its lense, low light is terrible, no image stabilizer, nothing fancy.  a tripod wasn’t even used to change ourselves if we could get what we wanted. If you are looking for a FANCY quality, this ain’t your film. But if you are looking for something different, this might be yours.

As our crew have expanded, equipments will and our goal is produce much better films for those visual-savvy which we can’t rule out.

Film now contains Subtitles, and youtube, Google does a great job in translating. Try watching it in other languages in CC mode. We are still working to provide Nepali Subtitle though.

A quick note: We now have a volunteer story writers and we wanted to write a few words for them. “Thank you. Thank You. and Thank you… Donna Oates and Min Prasad Bhandari”; For giving your time. Also DAN TAM for spending a few extra bucks to create films.

Well, take care and see you soon with another film or article. Final note from Ruben. “Thank you all for your valuable inputs. A good story is always the first step to creating a film. Non of the films I have created so far have had any script or story to begin with. Those were ideas put into frames. Now we have some story writers and people to help us with scripts, things might get better. If you have anything to dump, and it happens to be a tripod or a dolly, think of us, please !
