I have seen circles, zig zags writings and so on. This spider really knows how to write, doesn’t it ?

You can see it in this film. Also we have tried our best to show you the spider in action in an extreme slow motion without any sound effects.This spider completely raps its victim by the web produced immediately. It’s just amazing how much of the web a tiny bug can have.

If you like nature and If you watch it from the beginning to the end, there is also a bit of a misery here. A grass hopper is seen in this video but escapes as it seems so. Someone yells; Old, Ugly, but the Beautiful Grass Hopper on a tree has it’s final day on earth while the so called Old lives on.

Once the victim is wrapped fully, to finish the job, Writing Spider, injects a chemical into the body of the kill, so the meal (in this case, grass hopper) will melt (literally!) and would be a great supper. Spiders are important part of our Ecosystem. Not all are as dangerous as they look but we should have some precautions. Please stay away from them unless you know about them. Some can carry deadly venom enough to kill Hundreds of people with just a single bite.

There is a superstition about this spider as well, particularly in the southern part of United States. The superstition follows, “Writing Spider writes your name five times, you are dead.” So look out in the backyard and see if there is one writing my name! LOL !!
